Bill Fetch was one of the original instigators of the Martinborough Fair. One of the outcomes Bill wanted to achieve with profits from the fair was a bursary for South Wairarapa students who would otherwise not be able to afford tertiary education.

South Wairarapa Rotary is currently offering two Bill Fetch bursaries valued at $6,000 each. Students from Te Kura and Kuranui College who are residents of the South Wairarapa district and intend to pursue tertiary education in 2027 are invited to check their eligibility by viewing the terms and conditions on our application form at https://swrotary.org.nz/about/.

Applications must be submitted through your school by the end of September 2026.
