GRANT APPLICATION FORM

Before you start, there are a few things you should have prepared or thought about …

  • Is it local? The terms of the Martinborough Fair Trust require us to consider the direct benefit of each grant to groups or individuals within the South Wairarapa community (with the exception of international disaster and medical relief).
  • How much are you applying for? With limited funds available, South Wairarapa Rotary prefers to make donations of between $200 and $2000.
  • What precisely are you applying for? South Wairarapa Rotary prefers to fund capital items or capital item upgrades, but will consider other funding requests. Aim to make your request for a specific part of your project, with clear costs/quotes available.
  • Do you have a budget prepared, with quotes to support your estimated costs? We will want to see copies of this documentation.
  • Are you GST registered? Have your registration number ready if so.
  • Are you a registered charity? Have your Charities Commission Registration Number ready if so.
  • What bank account should these funds be deposited to? Have these details ready.
  • What other funds have been received or applied for to support this project? Have these details ready.
  • What protocols are in place to ensure the mopney will be correctly spent and accounted for?
  • Will you publicise your project? If so, how do you propose to acknowledge the funding received from Rotary?
