About this Award
Run biennially, the South Wairarapa Rotary Community Service Awards recognise and celebrate individuals making significant contributions to the local community, both through paid work and volunteering. The awards identify local “unsung heroes”, highlighting their efforts in areas like environmental conservation, heritage preservation, and contributions to community initiatives, or through outstanding commitment to service in the workplace and/or within vulnerable sectors of the community.
Nominations for the next Community Service Awards will open in July 2026, with the ceremony scheduled for October 2026.
