When we heard the Greytown Santa parade was in trouble, South Wairarapa Rotary came to the rescue!

And what an event it was! The weather turned up, as did dozens of floats, trucks, tractors, bands and groups.

Congratulations to all of the winners of the annual float competition. The judges had a tough job, but here are this year’s winners:

Best Tractor/Farm Vehicle – Vintage Vehicles (special mention: Louise Sage’s decorations)

Best Business Representation – Ā Mua Resource Centre

Most Creative Concept – Golden Shears

Best Youth Entry (Property Broker’s Prize) – Greytown School

Best Overall – Grey Brothers / Quality Demolition

Second Overall – EnviroNZ

Third Overall – Palliser House
